Adopting a facility for the safe cutting of ships and recycling their waste to reduce the negative impact on the environment and marine life.

How to apply


Terms and conditions

  1. Preventing shore activities related to the dismantling and recycling of ships.
  2. Replacing hazardous materials used in shipbuilding and maintenance with non-hazardous materials.
  3. Requiring ships to carry out recycling operations in approved facilities such as dry docks or equivalent infrastructure with impermeable floors.
  4. Mandatory existence of an inventory of hazardous materials on ships.
  5. Mandatory inspections of ships and issuance of inventory certificates of hazardous materials.
  6. Ensuring that hazardous waste resulting from the recycling of these ships is subject to strict environmental requirements.
  7. Promoting safety and protecting human health and the marine environment during the life cycle of the ship by not using, installing or installing hazardous materials on ships
