Housing assistance loan exemption

This service allows recipients of housing assistance to submit a request for exemption from the housing assistance loan in case of death or a decrease in monthly income.

How to apply


Terms and conditions

  1. Death of the beneficiary according to the following conditions:
    • Exempting the borrower’s heirs from paying part or full remaining amount, in case of their difficult financial and social status, and their inability to repay the loan. The heirs must submit the necessary documents for case assessment.
  2. crease in the monthly income of the borrower according to the following conditions:
    • The borrower’s monthly income falls below the monthly income limit specified for obtaining the financial loan, or as per capita income in the borrower’s family has become (3000) dirhams or less, with the expectation that this decrease will continue due to the age of the borrower and according to the adopted methodology.

Required documents

  1. Documents required, in case of beneficiary death:
  2. A copy of beneficiary's death certificate
  3. A copy of Heritage Confinement.
  4. A copy of the beneficiary's family data
  5. A copy of the power of attorney for the heirs, to proceed procedure on their behalf in government entities. .
  6. Real State and properties statement, valid commercial licenses in the real estate field of the applicant.
  7. Income and Salary Certificate for the deceased beneficiary’s.
  8. A document from the deed of ownership of the house.
  9. Any other documents deemed by the committee.
  10. Documents required in case decreasing borrower income :
  11. A copy of the family data
  12. Detailed salary certificate or valid monthly subsidy
  13. A certificate of real estate owned from authorized entity in the applicant’s emirate.
  14. A statement from Al Etihad Credit Bureau regarding the applicant’s data and accounts.
  15. In the case of medical disability: - Submit an approved medical report stating the applicant's partial or total disability.
  16. Providing a valid certificate of indebtedness to the applicant.
  17. Any other necessary documents requested by the committee

Assignment of maintenance works

This service allows the beneficiary, through the consultant, to submit a request to withdraw maintenance works from the current contractor and reassign them to another contractor, due to contractual and technical reasons, based on the Ministry’s evaluation and approval.

Consultant Renewal

This service allows contractors and consultants to renew their company's rating to the programme and in accordance with the approved regulations to enable them to contract with beneficiaries for the implementation of housing assistance.

Contract End Request

This service allows the contractor, through the consultant, to submit a request to terminate the beneficiary’s contract in cases of delayed payment or the beneficiary’s decision not to proceed with the remaining works. The request is subject to assessment and approval by the relevant authority in accordance with the approved procedures.
